As name suggest any financial loss occur because travelling by public transport within country or out side country is bear by company if you have taken Travel Policy.

Travel insurance charges are include in ticket when you travel with in India by public transport that it covers only death or injury happen because of accident.

Generally it is compulsory while travelling abroad and it cover medical emergencies, trip cancellation, trip delay, trip interruption, medical evacuation and lost, damaged, or stolen luggage.

But when you travel by air domestically it is optional, that insurance is provided by opting travel insurance while booking a ticket.
